Vortec Systems was established by Design Engineer & Company Director, Ivor Andrews BSc (Hons).

From an early age Ivor was exposed to the many boats belonging to his grandfather, Bert Williams, Powerboat racer and founder of BJW Automarine. Building on his grandfathers wealth of knowledge and experience, Ivor has developed his understanding of durable product design by applying mechanical engineering practices, in which he achieved a First Class Honours degree.
